ELIANE FRAULOB

PORTFOLIO 2025 (2).png

Eliane Fraulob (Campo Grande - MS, 1998) is a visual artist based in Rio de Janeiro, RJ. She graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from UFMS and moved to Rio in 2023 to deepen her studies at the Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage, where she is currently a monitor for the courses "Collage as a Form of Thought" and "Painting Beyond the Canvas," taught by artists Pedro Varela and Bernardo Magina, respectively.

Her work explores the creation of dreamlike landscapes that hover between the figurative and the abstract, using gesture and color to evoke scenes that provoke the imagination to reflect on the construction and destruction of nature. Inspired by the reality of Mato Grosso do Sul, her home state, Eliane addresses in her work the environmental tensions and the symbolic memories of threatened landscapes.

Using paints, chalks, markers, and pencils, she creates pieces that engage in a dialogue between fantasy and environmental critique.

Among her exhibitions, notable ones include "Between Yesterday and Tomorrow Everything Changed", curated by Ana Elisa Lidizia at Casa da Escada Colorida (RJ, 2024), and "Artists’ Union", coordinated by Isabella Lescure at Massapê Projetos (SP, 2023).
